| 2008: In Luke Joeckel's junior season (8-5, three rounds deep into the playoffs)he had 161 knockdowns, 155 pancake blocks, and an average line score of 89 percent. Joeckel says he can bench 320-pounds, squat 390 and claims a 28-inch vertical jump.
Joeckel reports a 3.5 core GPA and is awaiting his March 14 SAT results.
Joeckel: “I’m really good at finishing off blocks. I don’t stop until the whistle blows. I’m always practicing my technique and am working on playing lower. I need to bend my knees more and improve my balance. I also need to work on staying square in pass protection.”
