Elephant Walk
Every year before the football game against UT, Aggie seniors (referred to as "elephants" at A&M) mark the end of an era by participating in Elephant Walk, or E-Walk. The tradition of E-Walk symbolizes the upcoming "death" of the seniors--they will soon officially be of no use to the 12th Man.

The actual walk begins as seniors gather in front of the flag pole on Military Walk. The group then wanders aimlessly around campus, like old elephants looking for a place to die. This is a time of camaraderie and spirit amongst the senior class as they relive together fond memories of their college days at A&M.
In recent years, the junior class at A&M has begun organizing their own festivities on E-Walk day. For the juniors, the day is a celebration, as they anxiously anticipate their soon-to-be role as the newest Aggie senior class.
