Websider.com launches its 2011 Football Recruiting Board. This initial 2011 Recruiting Board contains over 160 prospects, subjectively ranked by position, identifies our early Websider.com Texas Top 30 prospects for 2011, and gives an early view of how many prospects we think the Aggies will be trying to sign at each position in 2011.

It is with great pride that we launch our Websider.com 2011 Football Recruiting Board.

This initial 2011 Recruiting Board contains over 160 prospects, subjectively ranked by position, and identifies our early Websider.com Texas Top 30 prospects for 2011. We also give an early view of how many prospects we think the Aggies will be trying to sign at each position in 2011.

Recruiting seems to get started earlier every year, with the Aggies already receiving their first verbal commitment for 2011 in Joseph Cheek (pictured), one of our early Websider Texas Top 30.

The 2011 Recruiting Board will change significantly in the coming months as we have the opportunity to evaluate these prospects in greater depth and track their development. Expect new prospects to be identifed and added, some prospects to dropped, and the position rankings and preferences to continually be updated.

Remember these 2011 prospects have just completed their sophomore years in high school. There will be some great 2011 prospects emerge that haven't even played a varsity game yet.

Our early analysis indicates 2011 will be a great year for running backs, led by Aaron Green, Malcolm Brown, Stephen Williams, Herschel Sims, and Bradley Marquez.

As is often the case early on, cornerback is the least defined position in terms of prospects. Many of this initial list of cornerback prospects are athletes playing multiple or other positions. Cornerback is a position where top prospects often emerge during their junior or sometimes even senior seasons.

The 2011 Recruiting Board is updated regularly and always accessible using the link on the lower left of the Websider.com home page, so check here often.

We hope you enjoy this popular Websider feature !
