No. 9 Texas A&M cruised past Pacific 74-62 on Saturday in College Station, retaliating for their only non-conference loss (56-63 in 2005) in over two years under head coach Billy Gillispie.

Aggie junior Joseph Jones scored 24 points and senior Antanas Kavaliauskas had 23, helping Texas A&M (7-0) to a 10-point lead by the half. Junior Dominique Kirk contributed with 13 points and eight assists.

Anthony Brown and Anthony Esparaza led Pacific (3-4) with19 and 13 points respectively, giving the Tigers a 49 percent (22-of-45) shooting percentage for the game.

Texas A&M embarks on a brutal road stretch this week. The Ags visit No. 10 LSU Tuesday, Dec. 5 in a FSN-televised match-up, and No. 1 UCLA Dec. 9 in Anaheim.
