The Texas A&M Aggies have had a big year in recruiting year so far and things picked up even more for the Aggies recently when they landed a star defensive end Ben Bass from Plano West.
"I just felt the most comfortable at A&M," Bass said. "I really liked the coaches there and the players as well. I just liked what they had to offer and what I saw when I was there."
The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Bass is ranked as a four star prospect and the nation's No. 25 defensive end by Scout.com.
"Coach Eggen recruited me for A&M," Bass said. "He's a real fun loving guy and he really cares about his players. He's real easy to get along with and a cool guy."
Bass was named to the all-district team as an offensive lineman during his junior season.
"I called them up and committed and the coaches were real excited about it," Bass said. "I am completely done, I don't plan to take any other visits or anything."
