Series: Oklahoma leads Texas A&M 23-1 and has beaten the Aggies 12 consecutive times. The Sooners won the last meeting (in Norman, OK) between the two teams, 69-65. A&M’s single victory against the OU came in Reed Arena in 1999.

OU guard Austin Johnson on the Sooners’ opening conference losses: “Losing the first two conference games is tough, but I think we’re going to bounce back. We have a little pressure, but we know as a team we can play better.”

A&M freshman guard Josh Carter on playing time: “I just want to come off the bench, give the team a spark and do what I can to help, whether it’s making shots or feeding to the post to Joe [Jones] or just doing whatever I can defensively.”

A&M Notes: The Aggies are 11-0 at home this season. A win over the Sooners on Saturday would make A&M 2-1 for the first time ever in Big 12 play. A&M is coming off a 79-77 loss at Oklahoma State.

OU Notes: OU leads the Big 12 in rebounding margin (+13.7), free throw accuracy (.746) and offensive rebounding (16.69). The Sooners are coming off a 71-69 loss to Missouri.
