Texas A&M advances to Super Regional

In the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday, Justin Ruggiano hit a grand slam against Rice leading No. 14 Texas A&M to a 7-5 win over No. 4 Rice at Reckling Park in Houston. Texas A&M won the Regional and advances to a Super Regional in Baton Rouge against LSU.

The winner of the Aggies/Tigers match-up next weekend will head to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Game dates and times will be announced today.

The Aggies improved their record to 42-20 while Rice ended its season 46-14.
