Aggies Add Another Verbal Pledge

The momentum continues to build for head coach Kevin Sumlin and the Texas Aggie coaching staff on the recruiting front. On Sunday, the Texas A&M football program received a verbal pledge from Little Cypress-Mauriceville athlete Alex Sezer.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect jumped onto the recruiting landscape after a head-turning workout at the Texas A&M Orange (TX) satellite camp last weekend. In addition to a sub-4.4 forty time on a slow track, Sezer impressed A&m staff with his drill work and one-on-one performance at defensive back.

Despite playing running back at LC-M, Sezer projects as a cornerback and return man at the collegiate level.

Sezer is also an elite academic student who will likely graduate as either the valedictorian or salutatorian. He is also expected to graduate in December, enroll at A&M in January, and count towards last year's recruiting class.
