Long-time Texas A&M defensive line commit Christian LaCouture has been taking visits since the previous staff was released. On Friday, the A&M Consolidated product felt it was best to take his name off the A&M commit, but do the Aggies still have a shot win him back?

Long-time Texas A&M commit Christian Lacouture informed Aggie WEbsider Friday afternoon via text that he has officially decommitted from the Aggies.

"Yes, I did decommit," LaCouture texted. "With all of the coaching transitions I didn't feel it was right to take visits while still committed."

Asked if he was still interested in Texas A&M or if he has parted ways for good with the Texas A&M coaching staff, LaCouture said he the Aggies are still very much under consideration.

"Yes, I'm still very interested(in A&M)," texted the highly-regarded defensive lineman who has plans to visit Michigan next weekend.
